Logging into the backend

• The backend is located in the "cadmin" directory. Enter "www.yourdomain.com/cadmin" in the address bar of your browser to access this administration area.
• Now you should see a Login form.
• Enter the following data:
  Security code: Enter the 4 character long number and letter mix as displayed by the system.
  User name: Enter the user name you have chosen when you installed the system.
  Password: Enter the password you have chosen when you installed the system.
• Make sure you complete all the additional data under "Administration -> Global Configuration" in the navigation bar to the left.

Modules and Themes - flexible and extendable

The buildup of Contrexx is based on those four elements:

• Core System
• Themes
• Modules
• Content

Themes are XHTML files and define the layout of your website. In the XHTML source there are placeholders which then get replaced by the system.
There are a lot of Themes available on contrexxthemes.com.
Modules on the other hand are programmed in PHP and contain the logic of the system.
